Taken from James Renner's site

I spoke to three neighbors who each said that strange occult-like activity occurred on the Dienes' property. Hunters found the heads of animals hung on trees. And one boy who lived nearby (and who was later interviewed by Ashland Co. Sheriff's Deputies) received a letter at his home asking him to bring a sacrificial animal to the woods behind Dienes' farmhouse.

Do you suppose Bay Village knew about this?

Don't know if BV knew. but it certaily looks like the Assland County Sheriff did!

I agree, it does look that way.

Liz, do you have any idea if Dienes & the Matlocks knew each other???

Pennsylvanian:

I don't know if Matlock's knew Dienes, but there is a chance they did just by being close in the same area.
